Ski school for children

Learn to ski at our Regenbogenland and ride the magic carpet! The kids skiing area is located close to the skiing school office booth, right at the top end of the Postwiese. Children aged 5 and up can join course daily. Skiing lessons are based on the kids on snow - concept provided by the German skiing instructors association (DSLV). SNUKI, our mascot, joins the kids throughout their day.

Our kids skiing area is called Rainbowland and supplied with a so called magic carpet, making it easy for the little skiers to go back up the hill again. Kids love that not only to go down the hill, but also moving up again without any effort and being ready for the next run!

Skiing lessons for kids start daily at 10:00 am, booking can also be done on a daily basis as from 09:00 am at the office booth located at the top end of Postwiese.

We are sorry a booking via phone is not possible, but you can book a lesson for your kids online at any time

Beginning children start in Regenbogenland

Children from the age of 5 learn their first experiences on skis at Regenbogenland. Regenbogenland is our ski kindergarten.
They playfully learn how to stop safely and make their first turns on skis before moving on to the advanced courses in the Postwiese ski area.
Uphill is safe and effortless with our magic carpet (conveyor belt).

Advanced skiers learn how to use the ski lift!

Children who have completed all the exercises in our Regenbogenland ski kindergarten ski on the lift.
The groups are re-divided daily and supervised by our trained ski instructors.

The advanced children get to know several downhill runs with different levels of difficulty during the course of the day. In addition, both anchor and chair lifts are used.

With lots of fun in the snow, the little ones learn about safe and fair handling on the slopes in a playful way.

Our ski instructors at the Neuastenberg ski school always divide up the groups so that no child misses out.

You should know that...

  • Compulsory helmet and gloves for all children taking part in a ski course
  • Ski equipment is not included in the course price
  • Lift tickets are only required for advanced children at the red flag. Beginners at Rainbow Land do not need lift tickets.
  • The course duration is 2.5 hours from 10:00 - 12:30. The afternoon courses from 13:00 - 15:30 only take place when demand is high.
  • The minimum age for participation in ski courses at the ski school is 5 years old.
